I ordered some more parts!

Some energy suspension torque mount inserts (for $47) and a brand new omni 70mm TB (for a STEAL of $70 )

crank, bearings, and caps on (gonna have to take the caps and crank off tomorrow i forgot the thrust bearings lol)

Have you thought of a different IM instead of boring out your LS IM? I think your set up would benefit from a modified Type R manifold. Then you can bore out the Type R IM to match your TB. Just a suggestion...

Ehh boring out mine is easier for now, I'll upgrade down the road.

turns out the machine shop undersized my crank by .010 with out telling me. I already opened my mains but i haven't opened my rod bearings so i can return those. I found some .010 over regular ACL bearings I'm gonna get.

I got a bit done today though, spent all morning scouring DFW for a damn piston ring filer, Oriley's saved my *** and got one from Oklahoma. So i filed my top compression rings to .019, and the bottom compression rings were already .023.




So we went ahead and put the pistons/rods in the block





Then we bored out my IM to 70mm to match my TB

haven't updated in a while, my engine is all assembled, just waiting on some bolts im missing and my timing belt to come in.

I deleted my abs and have all of my mounts bolted up and ready to go.

My break in oil came in today as well as my magnetic drain plug.

i hd to move my car to a new location, the engine is all together, just need to bolt up the flywheel, put the clutch and all that on, bolt up the tranny and drop it in!.
