Default tailights problem stya on

i own a 95 integra. the tailights just started to stay on and i can't turn them off. when i press the brakes it doesn't light up brighter. dont know where to begin to look. Any ideas? thanks!

does the switch feel normal? Try tapping on it. Also check the relay, it may be stuck on.

what do u mean just stay on???? like stay on without the headlights turn on??? if so...theres sumthing wrong with ur electrical wiring...you should check that out...plus the bulb u need to use is double filliment for the main one that stays on and brightns up when braked...if u have them in there...one of the filments prolli went out...and need replacing

check your brake light switch, the little rubber stopper might have fell out or broke, or the switch might be bad.

the little rubber piece that helps push the button in had broke off... i got it fixed. My bulbs are correct. The lights just stay on whether the lights were on or off...Problem solved. Thankyou
