Sounds like a ground to me. One time i left a ground wire to the headlights unbolted and the left turn signal would not work. Everytime i turned it on the signal light would come on but it wouldnt blink. You may have the same problem..

i had the same exact problem. I got by changing my corner lights. it got fixed cuse i used the wrong light bulbls. Try changing the light bulbs. Worked for me. Idk man.

the color of the bulbs isn't the problem, but you may need a different style of bulb.
Do a search for "combination switch". I would bet that's your problem. There are lots of little electrical contacts in there, and all kinds of different gremlins can pop up when that switch goes bad. You chould be able to replace only the left half of the switch (the part that works the lights), but if your model comes with the lights and wiper switch as one unit, prepare to pay$$$.
