You have to drain out the old fluid then refill it either from the fill hole or the vss.
there's a writup on the top of some of the forums.
I know there's one in the 92-00/

You need to drain the old fluid. I'd advise you on buying a length of tubing and funnel to fill it with into the proper fill hole.

Nope, if it's a b-series 2.3 qts. D-series use 2.2
usually you just fill until it comes out of the fill hole.
Look at one of those write-ups, you'll know exactly what i mean.

What do you mean?
1) Buy the Synchromesh fluid (GM P/N 12377916). If you're buying it in quart containers, you'll need 3.
2) Read the links provided here regarding how to change the fluid.
3) Drain out the old fluid, and replace it with the new fluid, following the procedure outlined in the links.
That's all there is to it.
Here's a photo borrowed from member "migs" of the fluid you're looking for:

No, the GM Synchromesh Friction-Modified fluid is only available at GM dealerships. The standard formula is available as Pennzoil Synchromesh fluid at most auto parts stores, but it is not friction-modified, which is what many people find helps alleviate grinding issues.

No sir, B-series transmissions require 2.3 quarts.
If you fill it until it comes out the fill hole on the side of the tranny, the car MUST be level, on level ground and up on 4 jackstands.
