so i drop the tranny out of my da teggy. yet the only problem is i cant figure out the best way to put the new one in, seeing as how the car is so low and i have no lift. Any ideas will be helpful thanks.

 

have a friend help you...
1. jack the car up....
2. slide transmission under car
3. have friend pick up transmission from outside, while you get under transmission, in standard bench press position.
4. have friend rest transmission in your hands.
5. bench press the transmission while friend assists lifting and guiding the input shaft and lining up bolt holes/ dowel pins and get some bolts started.

it's easiest to do with the p/s transmission mount off.
