swap problem
Ive just recently did a obd2 b18b swap into my 98 si, and my question is pointed towards tranny/clutch, Ive bled the lines...no air...ive done everything and cant figure it out, i pulled my car out of the barn, it goes into gear fine..it drove..forward..reverse...its all good, i pull onto the road, and nothing..car rolls, i put it up on the jack, and wheels dont even turn when it is unloaded..and the slave cylinder is working...ANY IDEAS? PLZ HELP!!
sounds like your car only likes to drive near the barn... can you drive it from the barn to the road? If so does it just cut off when the tires hit the pavement?
You say the wheels don't turn? Are your brakes on? Any kinks in the brake lines by the caliper?
...and DON'T "drive" your car on jackstands - its really bad for your axles.

i figured out the problem, turns out, when you do a swap, one axel is 1/8 longer then the other, so all the couplings...bearings..and bearing holder thing, has to be removed, and swaped onto opposite axels, reason being, the shorter one, unless its in the opposite one, is too short, and will pop when turning.
This is a good problem to note for those peoples doing obd2 B18B swaps into ek's
