Swap finished BUT wheels spinning when not in gear

Swap finished BUT wheels spinning when not in gear
fnished my swap and started it sitting on jackstands, the wheels are spinning even though the car is in neutral...
any ideas ???

havent started a car on jackstands in awhile, it's the second swap I did guess I forgot...I was frigin pissed thought I did something wrong with the clutch install, anyways thanks and me

Yea even tho the trans is in neutral the gears on both shafts are still spinning even tho there not engages, so by having next to no resistance now from the axles they spin the shaft slightly causing the wheels to spin. Nothing to worry about.

Dangerous?? The car isnt gonna go nowhere unless you didnt sit the jack stands in a secure place on the frame

Funny the day i started my car up after my swap it was on jack stands and i thought the same thing..... lol
soon to find out that it was normal...

you guys are weird, have you guys ever change tires? thats why you dont loosen them up while they are off the ground or vice versa

Well i was only so worried about somthing going wrong with the swap job that little things that i knew about already made me think twice like is is soppsoe to do that why is this like that.. ya know what i mean....

lol a similar thing happened to me the first time I started up my swap. Then I remember how the gears are in a manual tranny. The gears are all bunched up on 2 shafts and obviously the friction between them is enough to make the wheels spin.
