Default suspension question

ok right now im riding on ebay coilovers on kyb struts, which is not to bad i was wondering if it would affect the quality if i put aftermarket springs in the front and keep the coilovers on the rear so i can adjust the hieght when i have to carry a load or whatever, the springs are neuspeed by the way. would the be a bad idea or will it work out?? the reason its only the front is b/c the guy im getting them from only has the front springs and hes selling them dirt cheap $20 so i figured why not but i want some feedback on this thanks

You do realize that the alignment changes every time that you alter the static ride height, right? If you keep adjusting the height *****-nilly without resetting the toe each time, the car is going to chew through tires like no tomorrow - not to mention handle erratically.

Choose a full set of lowering springs or a full set of coilovers. Half-assing it will only cause more problems than it solves.

Just because something is cheap doesn't mean you have to buy it - especially something as useless as only two lowering springs. I can get XXXXL clothing cheap, but it doesn't fit me worth a damn so what's the point? If you buy on impulse just because something is cheap, then I have a lot of garbage I can sell you . . .

If they were two matching 2.5"-ID coilover springs, it'd be a different story.

So mean LOL. Although I used to hav a larger friend and i told him for every 10lbs he lost id let him "drive my car (93 turbo gsr swap) for an hour. 5 months later he'd lost 48 lbs. a year later hed lost close a 100 lbs. Now i have a skinny friend. I will agree with targa250 your ideas takes your car a bit out of kelter. Hers wat you do; dont be a cheap ahole like most ricers. Save you some money bout 800-1000 get some nice omni coil overs get a weight distribution balance and when u race kick ur buddie out the car. Id imagin by the way u think ur proly trying to race everything with four wheels in which case u shouldnt be endagering the life of ur friend while you do this. if ur just putputing around ur buddies weight shouldnt matter.
