suspension ?
i need some opinions on a shock and spring or coilover for my car. i want to get rid of the wheel gap as much as possible but my driveway is kinda bad so not anything too low. im not racing or auto x or anything. i jus want the best for daily driving.
another thing is.. how long does it take to adjust coilovers to different ride heights?
thanks in advance. any pics will help to.thanks

I'm using skunk2 coilovers on tokico alluminas and I like it alot. btw: it doesn't take that long to adjust the height. Just jack up your car and adjust it up and down. pretty simple.

H&R Race Springs(460/350) with ITR Spec Tokico Illuminas set at 2/5 & 3/5.
Ride is firm, but in no way unstreetable. I was actually expecting worse. Pics:
It dropped it 2.5" all around. I have no camber kit and have no tire wear issues.

hey how does the skunk2/illumina setup ride? also your spring/shock choice depends on how much money youre willing to spend. im stuck between going for some teins or the skunk2/illumina combo.

Re: suspension ? (TigerIntegra)
ive got tokico illuminas all around with ground control coilovers anc i love the ride its stiff but not tooth shattering and the ride isnt bouncy at all ...the only suspension setup i would recommend besides mine is H&R race spings and either Kyb AGX's or tokico illuminas ...both are great setups ...

I just bought the Neuspeed coilover from neuspeeds website for $749 shipped. They have a fully threaded shock body by Bilstien and neuspeed race springs. The ride is great and you can't beat the price for true coilovers. lowers -0.75-2.75

dont spend huge amounts of money, if youre not going to be using them for auto-x. I suggest eibach pro-kit or nuespeed sport springs, the drop will eliminate most of the gap and make for a nice ride.

Re: (b18c1995)
springs will cost you around 100+
shocks will cost you around 250+
why not add the $250 and just get a german inspired suspension, with a better ride and height adjustablity.

nuespeed sport springs 135
kyb agx struts 340
install is free if you can do it yourself - its not too tough.
This will make for a great ride, and will have some adjustability.

I'm using skunk2 coilovers on tokico Illuminas 5way adjustmentand. I like it alot the ride is not hard and u can tune it for the area ur in. I find it for my area to be good i mean with snow and all i can jack it up and lower it in the summer and i am able to play with it. i have seen alot of people using that same setup and have always said good things so thats my 2cents

best place I have seen on the KYBs would be coximport.com. I believe its like 330 or so shipped. Pretty good deal.

i havent heard much good about skunk2s, i hear they have a problem with bouncing.
you could also try ground controls if you looking for good coilover sleeves. but i would recommend springs.

i like this setup. the neuspeed springs with the kyb agx's. does anyone have pics of this set up. i dont really like the prokit. not enough drop for me and alot of wat ive seen is that the back is lower than the front. how adjustable is the newspeed and kyb setup?

Re: (Vi3tboy)
Its what im running, the adjustability is great. the ride height is good, and the ride is pretty firm. Its even good for a twice a month auto-x. btw the shocks are 4 way adjustable.
Before:
After:
1.75" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.

Where is the cheapest place to find either the Tockico's Illumina's or the KYB AGX's?
