Default Surging idle

I just had the head re-done....collapsed a spring. After the work, my idle surges from 1k to around 2500. I have no idea what it is. Before that it would surge a lil but now its kinda annoying. Any ideas? I have an LS vtec set up and the only thing different is that a stock GSR head gasket was used instead of a cometic.

yep, however on my car recently I had to losen the throttle cable abit as the idle was above stated, just undo the nut closet to the drivers side and let it come down. It stopped the surging for me.

It could may well be the vacum though, make sure they are all tight, play around with each one individualy and see if anything happens.
