Maybe a silly question.....but.......Will any other supercharger work on a 01 ls motor than the one specified by jackson?? If not, where can I find a good used one???

 

There are a couple here that you can pick up. A supercharger is application specific, which means that you must choose the right supercharger for your vehicle. THey aren't really like Turbos, which can mate up to several different types of vehicles. The thing about superchargers is that you can find some really good deals right here - I just picked up one for 1300.

 

i sold my JR supercharger and the d16A6 motor (79k miles) for $1000. you can find one on HT for a fair price...

 

i bet you could use the bigger jackson blower with some modification to the manifold (redrill bolt patter or something). and there's procharger, which makes a "universal" sport compact kit (expensive, though).

 

the guy who bought my jackson blower had it taken apart and ported... seems to work great so far.

 

I'm not sure...but vortech makes an application for that car
