Default supercharge???

I have a 1995 4dr gsr, i want to make it faster haha....... I would like to put a supercharger on it but i have no idea what kind or how much it will cost. I am not that good with engines so i probably wont attempt this feat on my own. Also, what other mods will i have to do to my car to handle the supercharger. Input on cost and parts i need would be nice, thanks in advance. Pwer

i am going to buy a jackson in about a year. it will coast u about 3k. i think that u can get a vortec for about the same probly a little bit less. u will have to get bigger throtel body injectors ect. u might wanna check out the forced induction section of the forum they will give u more help than u will get here. hope that helped

The vortech SC is definately more expensive than the JRSC, plus i think the power curve on the vortech is too exponential and gives nothing in the low rpms You can get a new JRSC or even a good used setup from 1000 to 2000 used. It'll give you good bottom end punch and the torque curve is pretty flat ( which is good). If you have the money, i'd say to get a hondata setup with rc 440's or even dsm 450's for the fuel setup. If cash is a bit tight then i'd go with an fmu, high flow fuel pump, map and the jrsc controller. Hang around the FI forum and look through the archives, there are lots of info on jrsc's . BTW you dont need a bigger throtle body, someone on HT dynoed a stock TB vs. a larger one and it made little to no difference.
