i really do not understand this question. i mean, i could understand if a gen2 didnt have an ls as the base motor, but it does. i could see if a lot of the swaps were from SOHC to b16 in a gen2 i would understand the above comment. he probly wanted vtec like everyone else and got a b16. its not like the g3 is 500 pounds heavier than a g2, i think its like 50 or so depending on the model. Its the same thing a g2 owner with an LS motor does, just wants more power
not trying to start anything man, just trying to understand peoples way of thought
**************
as for the topic at hand, i would sleeve it to 84mm, raise the compression above 11, put in some oversize valves, new springs and retainers, and put in some stage 2s or equivilent. thoat will make a good amount of power

well im not trying to say the b16 doesn't have potential..but a gsr swap would have been a better platform to start out with, considering its a bigger motor, and they fit right in dc2's. also LS motors are ideal platforms for turbo with low compression and stroke and all. i guess the reason i said what i said in my post above is because its a pretty uncommon swap...but thats what i was thinking so no hard feelings
*edit*i had no idea DA's were that heavy

i would throw a 1.8l block in there. but as far as the b16, grab a set of used 00/01 itr cams or skunk stage1's. loose the stock cat, in favor of a high flow or test pipe and get it dyno tuned. get a vafc controller and chipped ecu or hondata

my buddy had a b16 in his 93 LS. with the ys1 gearing, it was pretty quick. bolt-ons were exhausted to the maximum as well. he wrecked it before throwing in his cams/springs/etc, but i say it had some *****. oh, and sucka306, i might have a ys1 tranny for sale...i know you were looking for a long time.
topic....throw in some cams, and let the puppy breathe a bit easier.
