So I went for a drive to get some food and on my way back my integra b18b1 got stuck in I think 4th gear I say I think because my shifter moves and clicks like it's going thru the gears but when I go to neutral and let off my clutch it stalls out like it's in a higher gear I managed to get it home by against my better judgment riding the clutch and i couldn't let fully off the clutch until I was going about 50mph I checked my linkage everything looks tight and in place I'm not sure what's wrong and would like some opinions before I go to tearing the whole thing apart or swapping my trans.

 

I have seen what you have described before... it turned out to be a broken shift-change mechanism inside the transmission.
