Help
I got a 97 integra with a b20b engine but it's still using the b18 starter. Use to start right up but know I always have to hit the start and turn the key to start it. I've tested it and it's good. I even bought a new one and the car wouldn't even start with a tap on the starter. The ignition switch is new to. Anyone have any ideas?
Ok ... let me take a guess here, mabe the ignition fuse under the hood? Check that
also to double check that starter wire from positive on the battery directly to sillinoid, make shure key is on the on position... in netral
As far as ign switch you won't like how i test it theres a starter wire? I power it from the hot wire in ign, but but that's probley a bad idea... so dont do that, i think theres a way to use a tool on it i forget its the one that meshers amps
Also it dosent matter if you have a b20 with b18 parts, since there basicly the same and use the same parts.

It's no crank to start but I tap the starter and it starts right up everytime. I've changed the starter and the wires the other day again just to see if it would fix it but nothing. Thing is the new starter wouldn't start the car at all. Put the old one back on and started up so I'm not sure
