Strut tower bar question..

Strut tower bar question..
OK i put on a aebs intake mani on my dc2 and my stock strut tower bar will not go back on cause the mani is in the way. Does anyone know if a stock type r will fit or any aftermarket ones will. thanks chris

Post a picture with the OEM Bar. Atleast we can see what is going on.

if the intake mani is bulky, neither bar will fit. maybe if u get a bar that will sit a little high which will then allow you to have both.
regardless a type r bar will not fit. it sits low!

Are you sure you're installing the bar correctly? It's possible to put the bar on backwards, which makes the bar sit behind the tops of the shocks. The correct way is to have the bar sit in front of the top of the shocks, and I couldn't imagine how that would hit an IM.
