Strut Question.....
Hi, guys, I just bought a set of used struts on ebay to replace my older ones. Bought a 2000 LS set struts to replace my 94 LS and put a set of eibach to save money. The only question that i am having is the struts, should they be pushable by hand?? I ask the seller if those are blown and he said they aren't. Should the piston come back up after i pushed in???? I needed to know so i could get my money back.
I've never tried pushing my stock ones in by hand, but
I know I couldn't when I tried with my konis.
Does the shaft return slowly?
when you say by hand, do you mean using the floor and
your body wheight, or do you mean actually holding the
shock body in one hand and using the other hand to compress?

I push those in by hand.....very stiff and slow.....but i manage to get it all the way in with just my hand. The shock does not return at all. I am not sure if that's the way it suppose to be, but i could pull it out and very slowly. Please advise.
