Re: Strut Bar (dynamite C1)
i have the tanabe sustec front and rear bars. anyone have experiences with these bars? i got them before their release date and thought they were pretty nice. but, now i'm thinking of ditching those for some spoons. but, i'm not sure yet. the rear bar flexes when it is pushed in the middle.

does the spoon radiator cap actually work? i have the mugen one and don't really notice a difference as far as the temp gauge goes.

I have the Mugen thermo and the spoon cap. It does sit SLIGHTLY lower now but that normal part of the SHITTY *** stock 3-position honda temp gauge covers a 60 degree spread on a aftermarket gauge. (IE, the honda gauge doesn't move again for 60 degrees. fuggen pos gauge)

nah, I dont know everything that's why I'm criticizing. yupz, I know I'm a newbie but where do you see my post as getting too offensive?! Anyhow, I paid $112.00 for the rear DC Sports rear lower tie bar.
well, my DC rear lower tie bar was $70...my Benen rear lower tie bar was $135....for that $20 more you get another functional suspension piece instead of a piece of **** metal that bends and just looks pretty under the car.

I don't care if you are a newbie, your posts are offensive and they aren't even directed at me. Try learning some manners and people on the board will be more respectful toward you, newbie or not.

Re: Strut Bar (junglistgsr)
check out the RO_JA strutbar...I like the finish and the dual tube design helps to minimize flex. Not a bad design IMO.

do you think that the comptech bar is worth the $$$?
--justin
Well, it is quite expensive... I used to have a DC lower tie bar, but it didn't fit over my ST rear sway bar. In my opinion, the Comptech lower tie has the most effective design in bracing the rear control arm attachment points. It most closely resembles the stock Type R tie bar. All of the other aftermarket bars that I have seen bolt to the rear surface of the control arm attachment point. Granted, the tie bar probably has little effect on the car's overall handling characteristics, but it may strengthen that part of the chassis more than anything else.

By the way, that RO_JA bar looks nice. I took a look at their site and I love their project NSX and s2000!

Re: Strut Bars (Dave-ROR)
I comment in peace!~!

I noticed a 'replica style' Mugen strut/tower bar on the groupbuycenter.com.

I checked it out at the store today and noticed it to be really stiff and hard.

The only problem is it is a good 12 Lbs. (guesstimation)

For about $60 shipped. I think it is a great price. BUT if you are concerned with weight reduction... you are poop out of luck...

IF anyone has used this bar let me know what you think
!~!

Re: Strut Bars (Dave-ROR)
I remember seeing a short video a long time ago of somebody bending a DC strut bar with their hands.
