I am hearing a knocking/popping noise coming from my left rear, not all the time but it's becoming more frequent. I'm pretty sure they are stock struts with gc's and eibachs I believe. Sound like a blown strut? It was squeaking before but I took a wrench to the top of the strut and tightened it down on to the rubber pillowball.

My next question is should I even bother with throwing some different shocks on or should I sell the gc setup and go with ksport or function and forms?

 

Stock shocks do not do well with aftermarket springs. Bounce the car up and down to test the shocks. Once bouncing hard, it should settle within 3/2 periods (up-down-up or down-up-down).

 

Second opinions and weather I should go koni or full coils?
