Strange Problem with 92 integra

I am having a weird problem with my integra.

After changing my starter I noticed that my car, while driving, will lurch slightly. You know how it feels when you go over a bump are a large dip and your foot presses down on the gas pedal really quick and the car accelerates really quickly? well my car is doing something that feels like a diminished version of that.

I was thinking that perhaps when I installed the starter I forgot to plug something in or something. But I checked and could see nothing unplugged. I am thinking that perhaps I damaged a wire or something, but I am not sure.

The car idles fine and no CEL. I haven't checked for codes, but the CEL never came on. Oh and the car has a JDM obd1 b18C GSR swap with an Exedy HF01 lightweight flywheel.

I hope someone can tell me what's up with this! Thanks in advance!

Re: Strange Problem with 92 integra
Hhmmm, I've read this over a few times now, and the only possible thing I can come up with, is that somehow, the starter isn't disengaging properly, and that the teeth are somehow momentarily meshing with the flywheel ring-gear? This is all I can come up with, and if this was the case, it would make a cringe-worthy grinding noise... Other than this, the only other thing I can think of is that something totally unrelated is causing it, and it's just a coincidence that you happened to just swap out the old starter. You stumped me with this one, good job!

But sorry that I can't really help...

Re: Strange Problem with 92 integra
thanks man, yeah no grinding or anything at all the idle doesn't even change when I feel the problem.

It could be a coincidence, I am about to go and do a bunch of suspension stuff so I'll have to look into it more while I have the car up on a lift.

Re: Strange Problem with 92 integra
Does your tach jump when this happens? How often does this happen when you drive? The b18a1 you have should have an injector resistor, if the resistor board is cracked or corroded this might happen and cause an injector to pulse. The only people on this board that would know what the ohms to test this would be fcm and el crapitan. They know electronics!

hmm I have a B18C in the car. And no the tach does not jump when it happens. But i will have to look into this injector resistor board. I assume that it is on the harness somewhere or in the fuse box in the engine bay?

Re: Strange Problem with 92 integra
after doing some searching I found that obd1 injectors do not have resistor boxes, is this correct?

Re: Strange Problem with 92 integra
If you did it would be on your driver side fire wall next to the Master brake booster. It looks like a metal box with two wires on the bottom mounted to the fire wall. Could be wrong.
