my 1990 integra has a steering problem..

-you can turn left, and it makes a few clicks when you turn it as far as you can
-you can't turn the wheel right after it's reached the middle point..

it's kinda hard to explain.. but if you guys know what im talkin about just post. and i'll try to describe it better

someone please helpp or bump this thread if they kinda have a clue of what i'm talkin about

 

check the axle, bars, street rack, look for any bent or missing bolts, crack, dis enguaged.

 

axle is good, there was a bolt missing but i couldn't see where it bolted down too

it turned with the wheel when it felt 'unconnected' (when the wheeels wouldn't turn when i turned the steering wheel)

 

a flat spot in the rack maybe? thats really weird, i'm tryin pretty hard to figure out what would cause that mechanically.

Was your car stolen? Any damage done to the column?

 

i'm tryin to figure that out too.. i just purchased it yesterday thinkin it was gonna be easy to fix, turns out it isn't so easy.. they guy was trying to pull the motor out and he disconnected everything that had it before

other then that, it starts and idles great

 

there's a pin/bolt/plate under the car that is disconnected... i can't quite get under the car, but who has an idea of what it is?..

if anyone has a picture that shows all the parts of the steering column or something close to that postt it. couldn't find anything on google
