fixit ticket for the intake.....says i have to take it to a state ref after putting on the stock one..

just kind of inquiring...seeing what something like that costs..if anything?

and the steps to move forward...

I know I can figure this out tommorrow...but some help from the fellow honda-techer's would be nice...so i could sleep a little better :0

Man they send you to the state ref. for just an intake? Wow they are cracking down on that stuff in 619. Well get the stock one put on there asap(which hopefully you still have) and take it to a local police officer or CHP, show them you corrected the violation and they can actually sign the back of the ticket. I think this would be good just to keep your *** covered in this situation. From that point the ticket is a basic "fix it ticket" that will not exceed 10$. But thats the law here in Fresno, I am not sure about San Diego

stock intake should be like $20-30 im not sure if they will charge you money at the stae ref, if they have to do an emissions test then they will charge you $35, i dont think you have to pay anything for visual

just make sure all the vacuum lines are correct, and there are no bare wires showing wrap them in black tape or wire loom and you should be fine

those breathers are actually bad for your car, they mess up your gas milage because any blow by is re-circulated into the intake manifold with the stock line so i would run that again, and SJ cops are dick heads, what did you get pulled over for and why did he pop your hood?

Your pumping oil vapor into the air with that breather. Shame on you. Just get a mid 80's Dodge and you can spew all of the oil you want into the air. Don't you love CARB?
