Default Help!!!!!Starting Problem!!!!!!!

I was driving fine one day than my rpm gauge started to act funny and it kept flickering up and down like crazy, when i come to a stop my rpm would dip down way under 500. After that happen my car died. The only way I got my car home was to push start.

But the weird thing is when I got my car to push start none of my electrical stuff worked, my binker was dead and soo was my rpm gauge.

Any ideal what went wrong. now my car is completely dead and wont start at all when I turn the key to the on position and turn the lights on everything electrical dies. puls my emergency binker only buzz and not flash when i use it. My horn does not work either.

My car is a 2000 civic coupe with a ls turbo setup.

I took my alternator and my starter to auto zone and they both checked out good.
I even tried jumping it and still nothing. All the electrical parts just flashes and die out.

Will the car crank at all when you turn the key to the start position?

Turn off everything electric and try again or try charging the battery. Does your battery require you to add water? Is your battery even holding voltage?

My battery is pretty new not even two months old from sears. The electrical parts like my clock and my wideband would die out.

Im thinking I probably got some wires touching each other in my cd deck or some where else, that i'm not looking at.
My horn wont honk either and my emergency lights makes a buzzing sound when i hit on it, it wont flash.

If I don't get it figured out I'm guessing my next move it to pull my motor and get a new harness for it. but hoping i don't have to go that far.

Sort off, It Somehow it started up after i unplugged and re-plugged in the battery, the fan plug, the alternator plug, and the starter plug.

I was unplugging one at a time to see if which was the problem first i unpluged the alternator plug and tried to turn the key to a on position and turn on my lights to see if any of the electrical parts would die off like before, same thing happen it died. So i plugged it back and tried one at a time with the rest of the plugs then i got to the battery and i decided to unplug everything and plug them back in, then i plug the battery in last, somehow it started right up.

Don't really know why that worked, but it did!
