I just finished putting a B18A1 in a 90 DB1, everything works fuel pump primes and all but the car wont turn over. When the starter is on the car hooked up it just clicks or somewhat pops once, when I jump it from the battery the solenoid just clicks however when I take it off and jump it it works fine. Im sorta lost on what to do all input would be appreciated.

 

Bypassed the clutch switch and changed the fuse under the dashboard and its still not working. The starter may be engaging just not spinning. Whenever I jump it from the battery it engages but wont spin.

 

You can close this thread I fixed it. I removed all the ground and they were pretty corroded, cleaned them off and turns over like a charm.
