hey wassup guys i have a 91' ls integra and whenever i accelerate and get around 30mph my dash starts to make a squealing sound. it gets louder lil by lil as i go faster. and as soon as i start slowing down the squealing starts to go. so i was wondering what it is and how can i fix it?

i heard that its my speedomete cable and that it needs lubricating? if that makes any sense? haha but yea

anyone know? i would appreciate some help thanks

I have the same problem, and from what I have read, it is the speedo cable.

All you need to do is undo the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) on top of your tranny. Then, pull out your cluster through the dash (removing the vss and letting the speedo cable have some slack will allow you to pull it out quite a bit). Take the speedo cable off from the cluster, lube the boot with some grease (it's probably cracked or dry), plug it back into the cluster, and put everything back together and plug back in the VSS. You could also replace the speedo cable completely if you like.

i think i have the same problem, i lubed it up a little, and it helped, but its not completey gone, but it got better, i will probably do it again soon, its not really hard
