Default squealing belts question.

when i start my car it sqeals loud *** hell. it sux. the motor is a b20b. it has power steering but no a/c compresser. seems like its getting worse. could this be more than bad belts? could the pullys be out of line? idk any advice would be great. i searched "sqealing belts" and just "belts" and get no matches. i will continue to search. thanks

i had same problem, belts needed to be tightened and that was all... but look at your belts to see if there is any wear on them or if they are cracking because that could be another problem is they are just old... but yah it also could be like your belt tensioner is going bad... but id start with checking and tighteneing belts if needed...

Its usually something simple such as a loose alternator belt. Check and tighten the belts first as ls19integra95 pointed out.

yah, same was with mine... the alternator bolts werent tight enough and my whole alternator shifted just enough to cause the belt to squeal... so try tightening it...
