i changed my spark plugs and wires the other day without changing the cap and rotor (yea, i forgot). It started making a squeaking noise from inside the cap so i decided to change the rotor and cap today. now it makes an even louder squeaking noise. what does it mean? and is it bad? what should i do?

ok expletive this car...im pissed off. i cant figure it out. for anyone interested in a DA teg, i'll be at the HT meet in columbia this saturday. it's now for sale.

 

A squeaky dizzy is usually a sign that the bearings are ganna go out in it, so will shortly need replacing.

 

yea i figured im just gonna change out the whole dist. before i sell it. this 16 year old crap bucket gives me too many headaches. although im through with this particular car...im still getting another teg...something in better condition. im never buying another project car again.

 

lol mine does the same thing... i think im just gonna get a new one
