This is a recent problem and it usually only occurs when i really get up on the gas pedal or floor it all together. There is a huge lag in the speedometer needle. It will either not move all together untill i even out my speed or let off the gas or it will bounce around. If anybody has any ideas about why this could be occuring it would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

It is a 2001 GSR with around 80,000 miles on the odo.

where is the vehicle speed sensor so that i can check for rust. tried searching and can only find where it is on an accord. thx

 

vss is on top of the tranny
