After i did my swap into my 00 integra my speedometer stopped working, obviously VTEC isnt working and i tried using different VSS and it still doesnt work and my ecu works fine in another car.....what else can it be? its a brand new trans from acura, could that be a problem??? any posts will help

 

is th vss installed properly, becuase i thought it was one time and it really wasn't

 

well yeah it is installed correctly....how can u install it wrong? it has a bolt hole and its screwed in, any other comments??

 

Try cleaning the connectors with some contact cleaner....maybe just corroded

 

this happened to me too, i had a break in the harness somewhere between the VSS and the ecu. i swapped wiring harnesses because i had an extra laying around and it solved the problem. but check for continuity between the VSS and the ECU if u dont have an extra harness

 

i figured it out, there was a broken pin in the connector.....not it works and VTEC is rippin!!!!
