what is drag limited? i always see in magazines , like for the corvette, the top speed will say for example 155 (drag limited)

 

imagine a brick going as fast as it can through the air.. at one point in it's flight, its going to encounter enough resistance that it will actually slow down to a constant speed and no longer accelerate... if that brick was more streamlined it would travel faster before it slowed to a steady rate....

we basically drive different shaped bricks.... drag is the force that holds the car back..

 

my physics teacher showed us a good example...

too a penny and feather and dropped them from about 5 ft. the penny obviously fell faster.

then took out a glass tube, put the penny and feather inside, and created a vacume (no air inside glass tube), after that, turning the tube over from one end to the other, you could see that they fall at the same speed....


it was cool, then again, that was like 9th grade...

 

umm im almost positive that greddy kits come with a 16 or 18g turbo witch is smaller than a t3/4...but ya bak to the topic its not good to go for top speed in a turbo integra u put too much stress of the motor u could detonate bla bla bla...bad for motor o and thoes 18s are not helpin u either but i kno in the ls its bout 145 so with a raised redline like in a gsr it would b about 150-60 but dont try to get there "youll blow the welds on ure intake manifold"
