So I bought this 98 dc2 and everything is great but the speedo. Yes, I have searched, but I have yet to find this problem in the results. The speedo is stuck at 49mph (as long as I do anything under 49mph) it stays there. Once I hit 50mph the speedo works fine. I appreciate any help you can give. And no there are no cel's

What kinds of changes have you made to the vehicle's wiring? Do you have remote start or a cluster swap or anything like that?

It could possibly be the VSS but I think that would cause a CEL.

 

Nothing at all. Car is 110% stock.

 

check fuse 15, or 18. I had the same problem on my 99 integra.
