the tsx makes ~205bhp. a jdm b18c makes 200bhp if it's a type r, 180bhp if it's an sir-g. so tell me again how it doesnt make more power?

The winner would be the tree you hit shortly after getting a swap in.

Actually, I don't think the tree would like it much, so the winner is undetermined.

I've found info on the K24 listing it to be 150bhp with 160ish tourqe...and at the same time find the number your saying so at this point I'm confused

Both bad drivers......the notorious 3rd to 2nd misshift, and I've heard alot about oiling issues with the K-series.

I am sure that those are the base model k24's that come standard in the crv's, elements, and accords

the k24 offered in the TSX is more powerful

Wow considering they were all listed as just "K24" and its kinda hard to tell. And to be honest....not too many people come in to parts asking how much hp a tsx makes so it is not something I make sure I remember at all times.

I realize the K24 is featured in everything from an TSX to a CRV but I do not remember which ones make which power.

Keep trying to be a know-it-all and act like you never forgot something

just do your bolt ons now, you wont make a lot of power over stock but the car will be quicker, when you learn about the engine internals and turbo set ups, then you can go from there

First off you came in here wanting to know what you could do with little to no money; then the next post your talking about a 8,000 dollar project. I mean come on. Second do lots of research, third a ls with boost or no boost can make good, respectable power. And yes smoke all the time is bad. It could be your piston rings, valve seals, or your just running to rich all together. Blue smoke is oil, black is to rich, and white is antifreeze.

i would go turbo or nitrous. a swap can turn out to be more money then expected depending on who does it for you. you can find someone to put it for cheap and it end up being his first swap and he messes something up ya know
