something fast..help
i have a 95 integra LS B-18b. does that make it a GSR?...my boy said it does...i dont think so tho...i'm looking for something to do to my ride that does cost much...or nothing...but it will give me alittle more power...any tips?...header cold air-intake so far
your car is an LS non-vtec b18b1
how much of a budget are you working with?
cheapest way to make extra power is going to be nitrous, but if you have more cash then go with a cheap turbo setup

B18B = LS/RS/GS
There's not much you can do to your car to make it quiker and reliable.
A good place to start is drivers skill, take the car to drag, auto-x, or RR.
And don't bump your thread 2 minutes after posting. Give it some time people will eventually see the post and help you out.

a k20 is a $8000 swap, so it is in no way cheap but it is quite quick and reliable

No disrespect... but if i'm going 75 on the high-way...and a car fly's by me and then slows down...i'm droppin to 3rd and going to it...if your not going to race....why fix up the car...please explain
quoting someone on a other site....(my friend was thinking of putting a k20 in a 93 civic hatch, and he said for everything, it would be around 5K, and if you can get a complete tsx engine for 2K, then you have 3K to invest, which is almost a complete stage 1 turbo kit.)
I prefer to "race" my car is a safer enviornemnt where there is a lower chance of collision and where I don't have to worry about cops. Also, I can take my car to its limits and not have to worry about spinning out in the middle of the road.
Eventually, I would like to build a dedicated track car and compete in Honda Challenge.
I also fix my car up to make it look good. There's nothing wrong with having a better looking car.
IMO I do not think it is worth the risk of street racing. To me the risk of an accident whether it be my fault the other persons fault, tickets, increase in insurance premiums and most importantly the possibility of injuring and or taking someone's life is not worth it.

That is for the base model RSX.....not the Type S which has the motor everyone wants.
And a TSX motor goes for about $1,000 and will give you less power than a B18C swap would, and is alot more compicated.
I would say your best bet would be a basic turbo set-up. But have someone who knows what they're doing set it up for you and then install it.

a tsx engine makes more power and torque than a b18c in stock form and has the potential to make massive numbers without even touching the block.

How about an orange body kit with a spoiler that is about 2ft tall and maybe some stickers. Lots of stickers. Those effing things give you crazy amounts of power. More power than any P.O.S. turbo would give you.
Street racing is for expletive heads.

your "boy" is a tard, b18b's are clearly non vtec engines. and a tsx is a k24 nto a k20, thats an rsx engine, and a bas rsx engine will be worse off than a b18c, a k24 would be quick but not easy to swap in
my bad i have a 98 jdm gsr with a ctr build, hytech header, jdm type r lsd trans, hytech itr header, 180whp,128tq, 14.0@99.86 full weight,5k invested actually trying to sell header

It makes more torque but certainly not more horsepower, and although it may have the potential to make more power it :
Is more complicated of a swap
Most likely more expensive in the long run
And after working at Acura and watching all the K series come in needing new engines, I'd choose the B-series swap anyday.
