Some Questions....
ok i have a 90 integra gs. first question, is there any place i can get 1 inch spring spacers, my left front tire is rubbing the fender (yes it is extremly low) the exhaust is maybe 2 inches off the ground, the right front doesnt touch, its just the left. plus i bottom out everywhere
second where can i find the engine code to see which engine is in the car, i bought it from a guy and he said it was swapped so just wanted to see for sure.
third where can i get a short shift kit (new to the import scene, dont know of many brands/websites)
last my car shakes a little bit, and makes my arms vibrate from the steering wheel shaking at around 60-65, it only does it around there any idea why? btw i just got the ball joints replaced so they are spankin new!
all the help i can get is greatly appreciated!! thanks!

thats where the engine code is
you might need an alignment
short shifter can be found on ebay but i suggest getting a skunk2 duel bend. the nice and the feel great.
Depending on how much money you have to spend, and if you are even wanting to replace the suspension, I would reccomend Omni power. I have it and love it.

You can actually get it there for cheaper, if you are wanting to do this then PM me and I will tell you.

well I can only answer the short shifter question...I purchased an APC one for mine..yeah I know, not a very reliable brand but I would trust them over e-bay..I plan on upgrading to B&M or Skunk well...I you can purchase short shifters at your local racing shop or e-bay sells brand names too..just becareful with fakes
I'd never buy apc after snapping the one that was in the car when I got it,
you could even see a fatigue line where it snapped.
B&M, edelbrock, and skunk2 all have good shifters.
I like b&m the most though, only 50-60 for the one I got,
AND it's not all made out of aluminum, so it has a nice feel to it also, &no bends.
I'd check to see if the "springs" you have, have any kind of perch around the strut.
If they do, then they're coil-overs, and you can adjust them a little higher.
But other wise if they're just springs, you won't be adjusting them,
unless you had an adjustable strut, you're better off replacing them though.
Could be balance for the reason your car shakes,
bring your car into a tire shop and get the tires rebalanced.
It's not very expensive either, but thats usually what it is.
Does it shake at all under normal or hard breaking?

no it only shakes at 60 -65, and from the looks of it its just springs and no adjustable strut.
thats the car... and u can see its pretty low (bad pic will get another)

I WORK FOR A DEALER AND FOR SOME STOCK SHOCKS LIKE THE 2000 CIVIC SI HAVE SPACERS IN THE BACK SHOCKS THAT GOES BETTWEN THE SPRING AND THE UPPER MOUNTING BRACKET BUT I DONT KNOW IF IT WILL WORK ON UR CAR. THE VIBRATION COULD BE FROM THE CAR BEING TO LOW TO CUASE WHEN YOU MESS WITH THE RIDE HIEGHT SOME TIMES IT CHANGES THE CAMBER AND TOE.
It sounds like you have a misalignment issue due to suspension damage causing the tire to rub on just one side. It could be caster or toe out of spec, unless the fender is somehow a diff dimension from the other side. That could also make your steering wheel shake, especially if it "cupped" the tires. Take it to an alignment shop.
Short shifters are a waste of money if you ask me...12.50's without one.
If your suspension is not damaged, just "roll" your fender using a small pipe, or other round object that will fit in between your tire and fender. Start small and gradual until desired fit... but I would recommend new high performance struts, and taller springs before I would roll your fenders, because thats just a <U>bandaid</U>

awesome thanks everyone. i think i might go to an alignment shop n get it aligned. hopefully that helps :-) i did roll the fender a little bit with a handle of a baseball bat. worked for a bit, but like u said, just a bandaid. hopefully its just alignment issues because i did jsut get the ball joints replaced. ...... heres a better pic of how low this sucker is,
i bought it just like this and havent done any mods, not bad for 1450. engine has been swapped too, just havent found the code yet so dont know exactly whats in it. cold air intake, 70000 miles on the engine, 170 on the body. new radiator, starter, alternator, tires, suspension. only repairs i had to do was water pump, and ball joints (cost a 1000 for both). also has a stage 2 kit on it and the trans has been rebuilt. heh. so i think i got a steal

thats the stock motor, but maby less miles or rebuilt.
and look right under were the top radiator hose goes into the engine to see what motor you have.its a flat spot, probly gunked with grime so scrape it a little. but looks like a b18a.
