Smoking under hard acceleration
My stock '90 Integra blows a lot of smoke, but only under hard acceleration. It looks kind of white, like coolant or unburned oil. Really get on the gas and it blows out a huge plume of smoke.
Those who noticed it said it looked more like unburned oil than coolant, I guess from the thickness or blue tinge.
I've checked the oil and there doesn't appear to be any water in it and no oil in the water. Wouldn't these be likely if it were a leaking head gasket, and wouldn't it blow smoke all the time?
Any ideas on what it could be or how to check various possibilities?
Thanks!
