GS-R transmission ratios

1st 3.23
2nd 1.90
3rd 1.45
4th 1.10
5th .84

FD 4.40

99-01 Civic Si Transmission ratios

1st 3.23
2nd 2.10
3rd 1.45
4th 1.10
5th .84

FD 4.40

They are identical.

Your transmission alone can only do so much for acceleration.

How much power is your car making?

Good idea. Upgrade your cams when you can't even figure out how much power you are making or why the car feels sluggish in 3rd gear.

false information. dont listen to this clown. the b16 tranny definitely has shorter gears then the GSR's in 2-5 gears which definitely makes it quicker in acceleration. check this out http://www.allmotorhonda.com/t...s.htm definitely upgrade to a b16 tranny. it was the best mod i ever done to my gsr. u will rip thru vtec real fast and your c3rd gear's rpm will definitely rip thru way quicker

so sue me...i grabbed the 96-97 ITR transmission specs instead.

minor mistake compare to the way this car is being built...

It's funny how just yesterday you asked if you should purchase a B16 tranny, and now today you state it's the best mod you've ever done. If you learned all that in one day, what are doing here posting stupid questions?

what are you using to tune with? full blown EMS or a piggy back system?

Is there any way you can connect a computer to it and pull off data in order to see if you are running very rich or lean in any parts of the powerband?
