Skunk2 mani on GS-R... idle
Does anybody here with a skunk2 manifold on a gs-r motor have idle problems? My idle is at 1100 and that is the lowest i have gotten it. I even adjusted the idle the right way. I got the info from my Helms...

You may need to add more coolant. This is what I noticed when I put mine on.

You only need to pull the fuse for 10sec. Check your tps.

you can take yr throttle body off.. and adjust the throttle plate with an allen wrench and a 8mm socket. Just be warned though.. a very very slight turn on the allen bolt will affect yr idle quite a bit.. so dont get too happy.

Are you using a itr/ls throttle pulley and cable? If not check if your throttle cable is too tight. Had same problem in my gsr cuz I reused cable.

must be your IAC (Idle Air Control) did you reconnect all of your sensors? I installed the Skunk2 manifold on my brother's Gsr and it works just like the old manifold did. Let me know what you did so I can help you. No Problems.

i connected all but the one sensor.. i think its the EVAP sensor.. and also the EVAP tube, i didn't connect cuz the skunk2 dont have a location for it like the stock one.

Is your GSR an OBDII. If so, did you T the Evap sensor to the PCV valve line.
I dont know why people have so many problems with the swap. Mine started up and idles perfectly. I guess it's the poor directions skunk provides...
