Icon4 skunk2 intake swap issues

I put a skunk2 pro series intake in my 92 gsr b17a1...swap went well until I Started it..now the idle surges from 1500-3000 rpm's....can't seem to get it to Stop....drove it down the road and it runs fine but idles like ****....tried to adjust timing, throttle body set screw, and all that stuff....only made it worse so II put it back to where it was. Also I reset my ecu and it runs now but its just the idle is terrible. Any ideas plz?? Completly stumped on what it could be.

I looked everywhere...I do here a high pitch wistle but can't find it anywhere what vacuum hose would it be that would make the idle surge...all the vac hoses that go to the throttle body are all good...

a vac leak doesn't have to be a hose could be the tb or ITM gasket bunched up or ripeed some where and not providing a proper seal.

just x2 check all the bolts, did you fully scrape off the old intake manifold gasket from the head ?. if you have brake clean or carb cleaner spray it around the intake manifold and TB and see if the idle drops or rises.

I x2 checked everything..it can be drivin now but the idle still hops from 1500-3000 rpms..could it be any sensors such as the tps, map, or air temp sensor?

1. Bleed coolant (FAQ)
2. Check for vac leaks using some carb cleaner to spray around manifold until the the idle changes or you hear/see it get sucked in
3. adjust throttle cable (FAQ)
4. set idle to factory settings (FAQ)

Now it only idle surges when its war. When its cold it idles at 3 grand. When I unplug the tps it idles at 3500 with no idle surge. I think I need a new tps sensor, but how should I set the idle back to factory set?

You'll need to check the first 3 items on the list before doing this however.
