after installing skunk 2 on my 98 integ gsr check engine light came on.
anyone no any quick fix or does any have the same problem. also with the
hondata gasket manifold bolts barely fit any comments or help would be great.

 

i just installed one on my ls, same prob. with the check eng. light, just disconnect ur battery and reconnect it, that resets the whole system it will go away, if sumthing is wrong then it will come back on and ull have to check it, its almost always the o2 sensors that make it light up.

 

Are you using the stock ECU? More than likely you are getting the CEL because the ECU is looking for your IABs, which you don't have on a Skunk2 IM.

 

yes im useing the stock ecu. i thought that may be the problem..

 

well,w hat code ar eyou throwing....thats the first step to figuring out your issue.

also, ive had my s2 manifodl for awhile and ive never thrown a code becasue of it, no ecu changes were made until recently, but on the sotck ecu it never kicked on the CEL.

IAB's won't throw a code. Maybe you mixed up a connector or two.

 

did not get a chance to check the code yet just wanted to get some ideas first
and to see if anyone has the same problem. what did you do with the box under
the stock mainfold and the other sensor that sat on top of the stock maifold. im going to check the codes after i get out of work.
