Re: (georgejetson)
It's not a sensor. It's an actuator. The difference is one is an input to the ECU and the latter an output.
I don't think actuators are ever monitored for closed-circuit conditions.

Could someone still do this?
Also, does anyone have any side-by-side dyno charts comparing stock to Skunk2?

Back from the dead. I thought this thread needed to be included.
It basically diagnoses idle surge problems that you would have after installing the manifold, especially if you are running a chipped p28 kenji in particular.

I had mine installed today and it idles perfect, but now I have a strange problem. Vtec works for a while and then it stops working. If I turn off the car and turn it back on, the vtec works. MY CEL doesn't work, so I don't know which code am getting. Any suggestions?

Any of your guys running the Skunk mani on a stock GSR with stock ECU. I've had my car with the Skunk the whole time, and the torque feels weak. Might throw the stock mani back on, but I don't know if its worth the trouble.

get a vtec controller and raise up the vtec to around 5500-5900, or get a chipped ecu

Re: Skunk 2 GSR Intake Manifold Official Thread (CrackheadDC2)
i have read trying to find this, maybe it was mentioned and i just didn't know what you guys were talking about cause i don't know what the part i'm dealing with is, ok i removed the entire stock gsr im before, i ordered and have in a gsr pro series s2 im i notice once the im is out, there is a black canistor directly under the bracket where iab pump tank is, it has one hose leading somewhere, the other to the bottom side of the im, coolant possibly? don't know?, but i notice the new im doesn't have the hose connector on bottom/ what do i do? also i think i messed the iab pump tank up last time, cause car runs funny. did i read that you don't have to use this thing now? how do you bypass it if so? and the iab control diaphragm is no longer used correct? just cap that hose off??? sorry for this guys but i don't know how to search if i don't know what the part is called even looking at pictures nothing ever names what the part is.
