i got a 95 ls as well. i have the door gaurds also. are you looking to paint them or just for them to blend in. cause if you want to blend them in go to a custom shop and get them shaved. looks good

The moldings are actually pretty easy to paint yourself. Make sure you prep it real good and you sand it good. Don't use too rough of sandpaper or else it'll leave scratch marks that might be deep enough to show through. Just have a paintshop color match the car and make you some touch up in the spray can. When I did my friends. I covered anything that might get paint on it. Primered the moldings, wet sanded it with a fine grit make it smooth. Cleaned it. Apply the paint and made it look real shiny. Wet sanded any part that was rough. Then I applied clear coat to it. In the end it's going to look real nice. But you'l find that it wont match the car EXACTLY depending on the condition of your car becuase the paint has been exposed to elements. It's kinda hard to make paint stick to the moldings too and if not done right it'll start to chip because the moldings are designed to flex. good luck.

i just did mine and they look perfect. get 3 different grits of sandpaper (a rough, medium, and smooth) sand then til theyre smooth. go to local autoparts store and buy adhesion promoter, primer, paint, and clear coat. put on about 3-4 coats of each. buy dupli-color brand. its the best match out there.
