Default Simple Integar Header Question

Can someone show me the difference between a DA head and a DC header. Not including DC5.

I got a used header for my dc4 but i think it may have come from a DA cuz the bottom of the new header is about 2 inches to short of reaching the cat. Anyone wanna help me figure this out. I thought B series is pretty much all the same. I know the DA exhaust comes out the other side of the car then a DC so i know this may be the problem if the header does come from a DA. BUt im not sure, ill i know is that the top lines up but the bottom is to short. Anyone know anything??

Ls/gsr lengths vary, you might just have the wrong model header.

Bolt pattern will be the same on them, just some dif bottom lengths.

you can go to a muffler shop and they will add a smal peice of pipe pretty cheap. and the problem will be solved.

I have a 98 LS, he had it on a 94 LS..

He told me its 2 inches shorter, i have to pull the exhaust up 2 inches till i can bolt it. This way it stays tight. But theres also no OC sensor hole on the header either....What you guys thinks....get my money back or go threw the hassle.

It sounds as if you have a header designed for a '94-'99 GS-R. The GS-R has a longer B-pipe, and a shorter header with no O2 bung.

I have a 98 LS motor but the car is a GS model. Does that affect it? He sed this header was on a 94 LS motor.

You would need a GS-R B-pipe for a direct bolt-on, or you can extend your current B-pipe as an alternative.
