I was wondering if anyone has taken it off of thier integra i also wanted to know what held in on hooks/ double sided sticky tape????? just the whole run down on what it took to get rid of it. thanks

Their are clips that go into square holes in your body... spaced about 12" - 16" apart.... guessing... i don't remember exactly.... i don't know a good way to get them off asside from going from the inside of the door and somehow unlatching them... i remember the one closest to the hinges was a BEOTCH to get off cause I couldn't get a good hold on it. I just broke mine from the inside on my old door (was dented and replaced)... good luck.

Buy some ITR doors.

 

Stupid side moldings, why cant they just double sided tape them on? Chevy does I think

 

you can go to a shop and have them removed....it cost about 350 or so to have the holes flushed. Thing is they have to paint match your door. Im not sure if its even worth it.....cost of that, you can get some other mods. Good LUck

 

If I ever get my car painted, the side moldings are gone!!!!

Depends on how much you want to pay.

Low cost would be body filler, a touch more the really good metalic body filler and the most expensive would be to weld over the holes and grind the surface flush.

just park ur car on the side the street. sooner or later, a dumb will hit ur parked car.


thats how i got my side moldings done for free. plus extra money for other stuff.

but nothings free in life. 3 months later, a freaking tow truck hit my car and took off. the witness were worthless since they didnt right now the license plate. maybe because the witness were the son's on the guy who hit me... (the guy who hit my car and gave me $$$)


anyways, i had to pay 500 deductable for the damages done by the tow truck.


i hope the tow truck driver get hit by a car some day and DIE. I also hope those witness who were probably responsible for the tow truck hitting my car also dies.


its not my fault their dad cant see. and hit my car.


i think they called a tow truck up and pay them some cash to hit my car and run.

i hope who ever is responsible will pay the price......... you should off seen my car. it was ED UP...........

rear wheels tilted like 45 degrees, two damage rims, and 3 huge dents.

aside form the ITR doors, there would still be moulding before and after the doors...still need to ahve those filled...

it was a weld job...i dont know how much it costs cause i was gonna pay for half and my dad was gonna pay the other half, but as a christmas gift he paid for all of it. the whole car was painted cause i got the spoiler holes coverd (also welded) and i got all the emblems shaved. someone had keyed my car so after a few months we got it painted.
