Default Short Shifter Problems

I just installed a B&M short shifter with a shift stabelizer kit in a 2001 Integra. Where the change rod connects to the shift leaver at the joint collar, there is way too much side to side movement when it is in gear, it rattles when slowing down. Any suggestions?? What is this I hear about short shifters screwing with the synchros??

the gsr has a short shift already. Just replace the bushings on your stock one to make it more solid.

If I was running a GSR maybe I would've done that but since I have a GS I decided to switch out.

GS and GS-R has the same shifter. Shifts are too long for my taste, especially w/ the butt ugly way too tall stock ****. I don't know about your problem, but I have a generic DC-wannabe shifter that has worked perfectly since I installed it a year ago.

Hey thanks for the info but I found the problem, it was hitting against the heat shield for the cat converter, just had to bend it back, I guess the movement is standard. Thanks for your help
