Shocks/Struts
So I had my camber kit installed and the car aligned last week. For about a week afterwards I'm getting a squealing from the front drivers wheel. I go back to the alignment shop to get the car raised up again and check it out. Turns out the hack that had the car before me never put lowering springs on. He compressed the stock springs and spot welded it. Talk about cheap. The spot welds are going so I bought Eibach Sportlines. I figure while I have the car up I should do shocks as well. My question is can the shocks be removed on their own or are they part of the strut assembly? I want to just buy shocks if I can and not the whole strut. Car is 95 4 door LS tegra.
i don't really understand what your saying...the strut/shock is one piece. when you buy it comes with everything. if you alread have the sportlines, i would go with either some tokico illuminas or KYB and u just have to put the sportlines on it. then remove the top hats from stock suspension and put onto the new one.

Your car doesn't have "struts". It has a coilover-type spring and shock assembly. You would need to buy new shocks to go with your Eibach springs.
