lowering question
You can lower your car on stock shocks/struts if you want, but depending on the drop and the stress on them they might blow. I would advise you to save up and buy some good shocks to go with your springs. If you're gonna do suspension, do it right the first time.
Yes you can lower you car with just springs. However it will not take long for your shocks to die and your car will ride like some crap. So don't cheap out just get shocks with the springs. No struts are not necissary but may be a good idea.
Also if you plan on lowering your car over 1.5 inch's, you should invest in a Camber Kit so when you go to get an allignment it doesn't cost an assload of money.

there are some pretty decent suspension packages there. it depends on if you want to lower your car just to look good, or if you want to autoX/road race. GC sleeves would be your best bet for performance if you dont want to spend too much.

Damn, it's like trial user heaven in here. First off, honda doesn't use struts, they use shocks. So, you might want to get new shocks with your Eibach Sportlines - most people would recommend Koni Yellow (sport) shocks which have an adjustable perch, which will help cure the problem with uneven drops that are often found with Eibach Sportlines. The Konis are probably one of the best shocks out there, and only cost about $500 for 4 on http://www.groupbuycenter.com or at one of the H-T sponsors - they have a lifetime warranty and are revalveable.
Others will recommend saving some money and getting KYB AGXs, which are popular among the AutoX/Road Race crowd. You will void your warranty by using the Sportlines (more than a 1.5 inch drop), but they are a good low cost solution.
If you are not sure what you want, you could always roll around for 20-30k on stock shocks, but don't expect them to last very long and make sure they aren't leaking periodically. I would invest in some shocks, but if it's between saving for some Konis and buying AGXs now, I would use the stock shocks and save for the Konis. It can't take too long to save an extra $200.
BTW, both Konis and AGXs are ride adjustable, only the Konis are height adjustable.

eibach claims that their products are designed to work with OEM shocks, which in a way is true...but in the end you are going to have to replace your shocks no matter how low you go...
for camber kits check out SPC, they make some bad *** products that are easy to install.

yeah you could just use your stock shocks if their in good condition, if they have alot of miles on them they might end up gooing later on but you can deff use them with the lowering springs. I got a set of Ractive coilovers with stock shocks complete, all thats missing are the tools to lower and raise them, I dont need them so I'll let them go for cheap email me if youre interested dav_680@hotmail.com
Eibach Pro-Kit would work with stock shocks. Honestly though, I think that you would be unsatisfied with the drop after a few month and want to upgrade to something better anway. They're a good quality product and If you did want to upgrade you probably wouldnt have a problem selling them for a loss of maybe 25%.
