hey, i just brought some stock shocks.i pushed the top down to see, and it went down and back up. Does that means that my shocks are blown? Or does shocks tends to do that, if you push it down and it goes up by itself? thanks.

yeah they're fine...as long as it wasn't really easy to push down the piston...

 

no its not if they are easy its if they lurch. my specialty when i was a trek bike tech for their national race team was suspension technology. if the damper rod lurches when you push it down or pull it back out then a seal is blown somewhere and the shock will not have the proper damping capabilities.

yep, they're supposed to do that; that's how they stop the spring from oscillating endlessly.
