How come I get shocked when I touch my Distributor cap on my 95 GSR dizzy? While running, I touched it to make sure the plugs were inserted on the cap right and WHAM I get jolted....

Ideas?

 

I been shocked twice by distributors the first time the rotor screw came loose an poked a whole thru it on my B16, I was shooting the timing and grabbed the dizzy to adjust it and it shocked the **** out of me, the second time was when I bought a used LS and was trying to get it running and grabbed the wires which were dry rotted and got a little shock,

check your cap and wires

bought the wires used from a reputable seller here. The Dizzy off Craigslist. I will check the cap condition and update

 

All checked out....any other ideas?
