Default Shiftlinkage?

I have a 98 civic ex, and i am putting in a GSR motor, i have the new linkage ,but will the short shifter i currently have work, or will i need a new one?

yes, but they are different questions....in the link you posted i asked if all b series linkage is the same....here i am asking if my D series short shifter will work with my B series linkage.....

technically, it won't work cause the shortshifter in your ex isn't wide enough (the bottom part) for the shiftlinkage. but you can always make it fit by putting some washers in.
