okay i own a 4dr intergra gsr . 95
wen i first bought it it was mint , stock .
it does have a short shifter though.

for some reason every once in a while wen my car is on it wont let me stick it any any gears at all so id be stuck in da streat id have to turn it off put in gear den turn it on. sumone told it is the clutch slave cylinder so i went to auto zone and i replaced it .

my gears never lock out anymore but now if i wana put it into to first i have to rough it in. is it the short shifter? or do i need a clutch?

plz help before i need to buy another tranny lol

Roughing it in, eh? I hope you're only trying to put it into first from a stop.

 

yea , only form a stop i dont wna mess up my tranny, i jus wana know if i should replace the clutch or shifter or both ...?

u might have some air in the line..

bleed out the clutch master cylinder....

this happen to me before
your clutch might be going out cause before i replace my clutch i was having hard time to put it in gear so i had to turn off the car put it in gear.

 

if all else fails don't use first=]

sometimes my 1992 integgie doesn't like to go into reverse so i have to warm up the gears or w.e and just put it first second third and then try ti put it in reverse

 

sounds like a clutch or might be slave cylinder?

i already replaced the slave cylinder but i might of left air in the line , if bleeding the clutch dsnt work ... i should change the the clutch .?

 

I think its the clutch, same thing happend to me before
